New Hope Garden

A walk through the New Hope Garden is a journey of mental health discovery and healing opportunities. Feeling connected to creation is experienced through learning gardening methods and getting hands dirty. The garden works in relationship with our community support services and programs for students and adults and is facilitated by our volunteers who share a passion for gardening and community support.

"Participants are calmer. Their bodies slow too, as they focus on the moment, feeding chickens, kneeling at the pond, searching for fruit. The opportunity to try unusual fruits and vegetables, which broadens their palate, and may help them to learn to try new things and take appropriate safe risks.” - New Hope Garden Volunteer
